FROM OUR AWARD RECEIPENTS

I want to first of all thank you for this wonderful gift you've given me. This foundation you have created is a wonderful way to help young girls discover themselves and strive to be the best they can be. Personally, this award has made me feel like I didn't have to change much of myself to fit in among the other girls my age. It is important for girls transitioning to a different school to have a general understanding of themselves, and to know that they are special just the way they are. Everyone shines in their own way, but it's special when a person can shine so much so that their light is contagious among other people around them. This foundation can help so many girls grow into the leaders of tomorrow that we need.

FROM OUR AWARD RECEIPENTS

The Shine Bright Be Fearless family's sense of belonging and encouragement stood out to me the most. It wasn’t just an award, it was a reminder that my efforts are valued and that I’m part of something much bigger than myself. I’m incredibly grateful to be a part of a movement that encourages kindness, support, and fearlessness in the next generation of young women.

FROM OUR AWARD RECEIPENTS

First of all, I would like to say thank you all for the amazing award that was given to me. Receiving such kindness from the Shine Bright Be Fearless organization and from the teachers that nominated me, fills my heart with joy and bravery for the upcoming three years of high school. I will admit that I was very surprised when I got the letter saying I was chosen for this opportunity, but as much as I thought about it afterwards I began feeling proud of myself and all of the other girls that had been recognized for their hard work and perseverance throughout their time in junior high.
